Onondaga Ski Club

A Club For All Seasons

Some of the benefits our members enjoy:

General Meeting The 2nd Tuesday of September through April, the OSC holds a General Meeting to let members know about upcoming activities, offer them a chance to sign up for trips and learn more about local mountains.  Guest speakers are often scheduled.  Currently the meeting is held at The Holiday Inn Express, 400 7th North Street, Liverpool, beginning with a social hour at 7 PM, meeting at 7:30.  Guests are welcome.  It’s a great way to find out what’s going on with the club!

The Lodge:  OSC owns and operates The Lodge in Lower Granville, Vermont.  New members can enjoy a free night stay.  Many activities are available when visiting the Lodge including skiing, biking, hiking and local attractions.  For more information, click on the link to 'The Lodge' and view the topic of your choice.

Discounts at local, New York State and Vermont ski mountains OSC is a member of the New Jersey Ski Council.  As a part of this group, OSC members can join New Jersey Ski Council Trips.  To see the list of discount opportunities click on the individual links to the local areas at Skiing Hot Deals.

Ski Trips Every year OSC offers ski trips to its members.  Some places our members have visited include Lake Louise, Heavenly, Whitefish, Big Sky and Aspen/Snowmass.  Mt. Tremblant and Stowe are common bus trips in the East.  Cross country trips are also available as well as outings to popular local areas.  Visit the Trips menu to learn all about our current offerings.

Ski Racing:  Team NASTAR is held every Sunday at Labrador Mountain from January through February.  Teams compete for awards and trophies given at year end.

Cycling: Every Wednesday evening from mid-April through September, the club has organized bike rides from various locations throughout Central New York.  Click on ‘Activities’,  ‘Cycling’ to see the schedule.  We also offer rides on selected Saturdays during the summer to local breweries or restaurants.

Social events:  Book Club - held in the Spring and Fall.  Several books have been read and discussed.  The format usually includes a social hour with dinner followed by discussion of the selected book.
