As of April 1, 2023 the OSC will be following Vermont COVID guidelines, in that,  we will not longer be requiring proof of COVID vaccination.

ABOUT THE LODGE
The OSC lodge is conveniently located on Route 100 between Killington and Sugarbush Ski Mountains and is available year round.  The lodge has a large kitchen, filled with cooking utensils, a large eat in table area that accommodates 24 and a kitchen island where many hors d'oeuvres, drinks and food have been shared among the members visiting!

DIRECTIONS

Google Maps and other mapping services provide directions from anywhere to the lodge.  Others in the club may have favorite routes and places to stop for refreshments, ask around.  It is always prudent to have a map, just in case you miss a turn or loose technology.

Of course, there is always the high technology way - GPS - Lower Granville is located 977 ft. above sea level at:
43° 59' 05.14" North 
72° 50' 48.54" West 

STAYING AT THE LODGE
Check Out - 12:00 noon
Quiet Hours - between 11:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M.
LODGE COMBINATION:  Be sure that you have received the Lodge access combination prior to arrival.

RATES

Dorm Bed: $35.00 per person, per night. Includes 9% Vermont room tax.

Private room$70.00 per night for two. Includes 9% Vermont room tax.
Rates for rooms #4 and #7 will vary if used by more than two people - additional adults in Room 4 and 7 will pay $35 each; additional junior members will pay $12.00 each. Includes 9% Vermont room tax

WHO CAN GO TO THE LODGE
The Lodge is available to current Adult member ( >17 years of age)  at any time during the year.  A Junior member (13 to 17 years of age) is welcome at any time of the year except during club event dates (hiking, golf, July 4th, New Year’s Eve).   Junior members must be accompanied by an adult member (parent/guardian).

Children under the age of 13 may stay at the lodge  during Family Dates (usually May  to October and on selected dates during the winter season). For more information see: Family Reservations

STAY AT THE LODGE BASICS

ITEMS TO BRING  (See "Welcome to the Lodge" link)

  • sheets or sleeping bags, pillow cases
  • toiletries
  • personal bath  towels 
  • food items you plan to consume 

Blankets and pillows are provided. Basic household items are provided, such as:  paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, cleaning products. The kitchen is fully equipped.  Basic condiments are available. There are two refrigerators for members to share.  One may have to be turned on.

PHONE AND INTERNET
There is limited cell phone reception (currently there is AT&T reception) at the lodge and only local calls can be made on the lodge phone. You should bring a calling card if you plan to make long distance calls from the lodge phone.  WiFi Internet access is available.

There are four bathrooms at the lodge.

  • A men's dorm bathroom (first floor)
  • A women's dorm bathroom (first floor) 
  • A bathroom shared by rooms 5, 6, and 7 (second floor)
  • A bathroom shared by rooms 1, 2, 3, and 4, (second floor)

RULES AND REGULATIONS -   The rules and regulations for use of the lodge have been developed through experience and for the best interest of our members. They are posted in the Lodge for your information and use. 
Please make an effort to keep the lodge clean and let us know if anything needs attention.  E
veryone staying at the Lodge is expected to help with routine maintenance/cleaning of the rooms and public areas  - we are a volunteer organization!

NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE LODGE.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED AT THE LODGE.

SIGN IN - You must sign in, on arrival, in the log book in the kitchen.

FIRST TO ARRIVE - If you are the first person to arrive, please turn the hot water on and adjust thermostats as needed.

LAST TO LEAVE - If you are the last one to check out, please turn off the hot water switch and turn the three thermostats back to 55 degrees. Location of the three thermostats are: Living Room, Upstairs hall front, Upstairs hall back.

CLEANING - Everyone is responsible for lodge cleaning before departing (see list).  Please take your recyclable food bottles and cans back home with you. Garbage should be placed in the outdoor garbage pails.  Cleaning of your assigned room and all common areas must be done before departing.

EMPTY ROOM - If clothing or other items are left in your room with the anticipation of returning in a few days, you will be charged as if you were occupying that room.
