Stoney Pond Hike/Ski

An easy trail around the pond in an area with many trails, some have ups and downs, but not this one really.  A little over two miles, but can be added too. Another time for the others, winter/spring/summer/fall.

At the third/last traffic light on Route 20 in the center of Cazenovia village, continue east straight on Rt. 20 for 4 miles into Nelson.

Turn right onto Erieville Road and continue past the horse farms for 1.5 miles to a left hand turn onto Old State Road at the red barn on your right.

Continue for 2.7 miles to Jones Road. Turn right and continue to the second parking area on your left, 1.3 miles. You will pass the first one.

Trails can be done with x-c skis, snow shoes, or spikes on boot bottoms. Wide in good shape today (2/26/21).
