Canoe/Kayak Onondaga Lake via Nine Mile Creek

Kayaking/canoeing at 9 Mile Creek to Onondaga Lake

Date/Time: Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 6 PM.  

Try to be there at 5:35 to unload and be ready to kayak at 6PM 

Gravel parking lot on your left or park on side of street.  Grassy area-short walk to water.  No facilities.  

Bring own kayak/canoe, accessories, water, and life jacket must be worn.  We will be paddling to the left toward Onondaga Lake.  Then to the right toward the Amphitheater.

Directions to paddle: Interstate 690 W to the State Fair Exit. Left to light then right on to State Fair Blvd. Go 0.8 miles under over passes, then immediately left on to Pumphouse Road. 

(If you pass the Best Western Inn on State Fair Blvd, you went too far.) 

Drive 0.2 miles on to Pumphouse Road, to parking area on left just before gate. Comment: as you drive down Pumphouse Road, you will see that it is also an exit for Interstate 690 from the North.
