• 8673 Oswego Rd/CR-57, Baldwinsville NY 13027 (L-shaped ranch)
  
• 8679 Oswego Rd/CR-57, Baldwinsville NY 13027 (Empty lot with fruit trees)
  
• Follow flags down to the waterfront.
  

Driving Directions:

• Take 81 North out of Syracuse.
  
• Take Exit 29N onto NY-481 North
  
• Take Exit 12 onto NY-31 (Great Northern Mall exit)
  
• Use the left two lanes NY-31 West
  
• Use the Right Lane to turn North on CR-57/Oswego Road.
  
• After the Catholic Cemetery on the right, turn Left onto Gaskin Rd.
  
• Turn Right onto 8665 Gaskin Rd or park along the street.
• Note: Be careful parking on the hill. We have some Kayak carts to transport down to the water.

History: In the early days, this area used to have Gaskins Reef (a rock barrier) in the river.  A small lock was installed to get around the reef. When the rock was removed from the river the lock was filled in. Several companies went out of business trying to remove the rock. There is also an unmarked Indian burial on nearby property.

Be prepared to see bald eagles, osprey, kingfishers, geese, ducks, beaver, muskrat, turtles, mink, crayfish. We have coyotes, foxes, skunks, raccoons, opossums in the area.

Paddling Directions:

• Downstream on the Seneca River (N) towards Three Rivers Park
  
• Downstream on the Oswego River
  
• Pass the Erie Canal Terminal
  
• Paddle around Treasure Island in Phoenix and head back upstream
  
• Ensure you have a life vest and whistle.
