Hike at Green Lakes

It looks like another nice day next Wednesday, so let's go hiking!

Green Lakes State Park can be reached off of Rt 290.  We will meet at 11:20 am by the Education Center near the beach.

We will plan to hike sections of the Green Lake Trail, Round Lake Trail, Brookside Trail, Powerline Indian Oven Trail and The Old Growth Trail.

This will be a moderate hike between 4 - 5 miles. The area around the lakes is easy and flat, but then becomes a little more challenging, veering uphill to the Indian Ovens.  Our return loop will take us back down and around the other side of Round and Green lakes. 

Please remember to bring water and snacks. Trekking poles are good for extra support. 

We will go to Yards Grille after to socialize (and have lunch).
