Covewood Lodge Weekend continuing under “new management”

Friday, Sept 15 – Sunday, Sept 17, 2023

Many thanks to Chris L. and Marilyn W. for organizing this adventure for many years! Your new hosts are Kelly Buck, Donna Willis and Phyllis Creamer, and we hope to breathe new life into this old favorite. What to Expect:
• Rustic bedrooms in the main lodge with private bathrooms (two twin beds, double occupancy; some rooms with single pull-out couch on porch, so triples are possible. Bring your own bedding and towels). Only 8 rooms reserved (16 – 20 spots) and filling quickly.
• Two fully-equipped kitchens available for you to prepare your own meals (or eat out!) Bring your own food and drinks.
• Use of the Covewood dining/recreation room, front porch overlooking the lake, docks, and living room to relax by the fireplace. Wi-fi in the public spaces.
• Full access to the waterfront; boat launch and use of rental kayaks and canoes
• Plan to arrive Friday afternoon in time for a favorite tradition: BYOB happy hour on the porch overlooking the lake from about 5:30 – 6:30, followed by a potluck dinner in the dining room. Please bring a dish to share for about 20 people. That evening, we may have a bonfire and/or game night. We’ll plan activities for the next day: hiking, paddling, etc. Details as it gets closer.

Cost: $170 per person (subject to change)
• $50.00 deposit due by June 1; final payment by August 15, 2023 with trip agreement form
• This trip is open to OSC members and guests
• Rooms are already filling quickly – reserve your spot soon! Only 16 – 20 spaces available.
• If the trip is cancelled, all monies will be refunded
