Paddle Jacks Reef/Cross Lake August 3rd

We'll paddle upriver to Cross Lake. 

We may stop by the Cross Lake Islands Wildlife Area.

We may paddle either the Seneca River on the west-side of Cross Lake or north into Cross Lake depending on boat traffic and wind conditions.

We'll return by floating down the canal and then head upriver towards the put in at the Reef completing a loop.

Directions:

• Go West 690 from Syracuse. 
• Exit at the 2nd Baldwinsville exit (370W / Downer St)
• Turn left onto 370W
• Turn Left onto Route 31 (Approx 1 mi)
• At a Stop Sign make a Right onto Old Route 31 (Approx 3.8 mi)
• The Reef will be on your right next to a bridge. Parking is in the back next to the Seneca River.

FYI: Following the paddle we will share a meal at The Reef.

Weather conditions: We'll cancel if there is a threat of thunder during the paddle.

Be aware of boat traffic. Do not cross a boaters path.

Carry a whistle, white light (for signaling) and a life vest.
