Hike at Green Lakes

The calendar says it's spring, but the weather doesn't act like it.

Yet Tuesday looks like a decent day, so let's go for a hike!  

Green Lakes State Park can be reached off of Rt 290.  We will meet at 11:20 am by the Education Center near the beach.

This will be a moderate hike between 4 - 5 miles. The area around the lakes is easy and flat, but then becomes a little more challenging as we go uphill.

Please remember to bring water and snacks. Trekking poles are good for extra support.  

We will go to Bull & Bear Roadhouse in Fayetteville after to socialize (and have lunch).

Be sure to register if you plan on attending.  If you register and find that you cannot attend, be sure to cancel your registration.  Check the hiking forum in case of cancellation as we get closer to the date of the hike.
