The OSC hiking program needs some help!
You’re getting this note because you’ve signed up for the hiking forum and, right now, an important point for the OSC Hiking program is that “We would like to have a few more people leading hikes.”
Last year we were pretty active but with some problems (physical, family, and schedule) involving the few volunteer hiking leaders, the program really dropped off over the winter.
Our typical hikes are between three and four miles with some a little shorter and some a little longer. They are usually on a Monday during the cycling season and a Wednesday when biking is over. But that’s not gospel, so we can have hikes on any day of the week, and we often try to plan somewhere to eat afterward.
There is a Hiking Leader’s Guideline on the website at https://onondagaskiclub.org/Hiking-Blog/10539667
