I love x country skiing and would like to go Saturday mornings. Now that it stays light longer, maybe even an early evening ski any weekday. I don't see any outings on the calendar that fit this. Now that we have some snow maybe there's a chance to get out there. Anyone else out there looking for a short ski close to home? I live in bville.
Just ski-ed Radisson walking trails. They are snow covered and awesome. If you like flat and scenic with a few slopes, this is for you. I'm a resident so it's easy to ski out of my driveway and onto a trail. I've also done the back 9 of the golf course and there is state land off of that. There's a great canal trail that leads to a park- I plan to tackle that next weekend.
Long branch park. What a great place for a short cross country ski outing. Monday afternoon at 5pm- no one there, very peaceful. Conditions were nice in most spots.
