Well, a number of club members didn't check the forum before heading to B'ville.  Six 'hardcore' paddlers launched from the neat kayak/ canoe dock at Mercer Park on the river this evening and paddled a couple of miles, turned around and returned to this dock. The dock allows paddlers to stay dry when launching or taking out...a nice thing.  Then everyone headed out to wherever. Marilyn and I headed home after an enjoyable paddle even though the temperature was up there, but it didn't feel that bad paddling.  Would do it again.
