    he plan is that, from the parking lot, we’ll take the Truxton Hill Loop as shown on the attached map.  We've done this hike before and hopefully the snow on the spruce trees will again look like a fairyland. 

     

    One important note is that it’s likely to be icy in spots.  It was warm over the weekend and that softened up the base, then the colder weather has frozen just about everything.  We strongly recommend wearing microspikes and carrying a hiking pole.

     

    I’m looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday afternoon and it may even be sunny!
