Our hot sticky summer sems to be over.

Hiking time is back and there are a few hikes tentatively planned, however, we need a few more leaders.

Through this “non-bicycling” time of the year, the hikes will mostly be on Wednesdays and, if you can help, please take a look at https://onondagaskiclub.org/Hiking-Blog/10539667.

In the meantime, a couple of hikes that are tentatively scheduled are:

    • ·         Wednesday afternoon - October 4th at Chimney Bluffs – Hope for a warm sunny day and a walk across the bluffs followed by sitting on the shore.
    • ·         Thursday afternoon - October 12th – Song Mountain -Note that the day is a Thursday and that’s so we can go to Heuga’s afterward.  The view on the way up the hill will look back to the northwest over Otisco Lake and the view from the top looks northeast. (We’ll hope for a sunny fall foliage day and a rain date is October 19th.)
    • ·         Wednesday - November 1st – We’ll hike the Skaneateles Conservation area, starting on Gully Road.
